Grants Received for Home Safety Training

Prevention 1st has received a $5,000 grant from the Marie C. & Joseph C. Wilson Foundation to provide home safety training to staff, volunteers and clients of organizations serving vulnerable populations in Rochester, NY and Monroe County. The training is developed and delivered by Fireproof Children Company. Worskhops were delivered to the Child Care Council, Inc., Flower City Habitat for Humanity, and the14621 Community Association.

Through a grant from the Ames-Amzalak Memorial Trust in memory of Henry Ames, Semon Amzalak and Dan Amzalak, we are providing train-the-trainer home safety workshops the Wilson Commencement Park, Early Childhood Education Quality Council, and Rochester ChildFirst Network.
